The Power BI Complex Scenario project focuses on optimizing a report that handles trillions of data rows, addressing the performance and usability challenges caused by dataset limitations and file size constraints. To overcome these obstacles, we implemented a delta refresh solution using incremental refresh, which significantly reduces processing time and data load during report generation. This approach allows for efficient data retrieval, ensuring that only updated data is processed, which improves overall system performance. The solution enhances the user experience by providing faster, more responsive reports, crucial for the client’s property management intelligence (PMI) tool in the hospitality industry. By optimizing the reporting process, the tool can handle large-scale data requirements, providing timely and actionable insights.
