This year, to celebrate the spirit of Diwali and togetherness, our team embarked on The Spark Behind the Screens: JustCodify’s Diwali Celebration Trip — a memorable three-day retreat to the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. The getaway offered a perfect blend of relaxation, exploration, and bonding, creating memories that will stay with us long after the festival lights fade.
Day 1: Journey, Arrival & A Special Celebration
Our trip began with a cheerful road journey filled with music, conversation, and excitement. Midway, we enjoyed a delicious lunch stop in Vadodara before continuing towards our stay at the beautiful Resort.
The moment we arrived, the warm ambience and scenic surroundings set the tone for a refreshing getaway. After checking in and unwinding with some tea and relaxation time, evening approached with a meaningful celebration.
We gathered in the gazebo near the swimming pool for a surprise birthday celebration for our CEO. The open-air setting, festive décor, and joyful atmosphere made the moment truly special. With cake cutting, music, laughter, and photos, the evening was filled with happiness and heartfelt appreciation.
Day 2: Exploring the Iconic Statue of Unity
The next morning, we set out to explore one of India’s most inspiring landmarks — the Statue of Unity, a symbol of leadership, vision, and unity. The sight of the towering statue surrounded by natural beauty was truly awe-inspiring.
We also spent time walking through the Valley of Flowers, admiring its colorful landscapes, and visited the Sardar Sarovar Dam, taking in the panoramic views. Some of us even enjoyed electric bike rides, adding a fun and adventurous element to the day.
Returning to the resort, we spent the late afternoon relaxing in the swimming pool, accompanied by live music, laughter, and playful moments that brought everyone closer. The day ended with a hearty dinner and warm conversations — simple, happy, and memorable.
Day 3: Diwali Cheer & Heading Home
Before concluding our trip, we came together for a heartwarming Diwali celebration.
Our CEO distributed Diwali hampers, sharing festive positivity and gratitude with the team.
We captured the joyful atmosphere with photos, reels, and plenty of smiles.
While the boys enjoyed a competitive game of cricket, the girls spent time chatting, laughing, and enjoying the sunny morning — a perfect way to wrap up the retreat.
With hearts full of happiness and bonds strengthened, we made our way back home — carrying both memories and motivation into the festive season ahead.
